Dear Heavenly Father,
As I begin this new day, I come before you, acknowledging your sovereignty and goodness. You are the Light of the world, and I am yours.
According to Matthew 5:14-16, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Lord, I pray that your light shines brightly through me today. May my words, actions and thoughts reflect your love, kindness and wisdom.
Help me to be a beacon of hope in a world filled with darkness. Use me to illuminate your truth and bring glory to your name.
As I navigate life’s challenges, remind me to trust your guidance. May my heart remain steadfast, shining your light for all to see.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
