SCRIPTURE: Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: So, when we come to the altar of prayer and access our inheritance in God, we are positioned for fulfilment and satisfaction in life.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

It has been established that prayer is the platform for accessing our inheritance in God.

In teaching His disciples to pray, Jesus, in Matthew 6:11 says,
Give us this day our daily bread.

This means, our inheritances and promises in the Word of God for our lives are accessed by prayer.

Now, what is the outcome of accessing our inheritance in God through prayer?
i. The life of fulfilment and satisfaction.
This is a life that is devoid of distraction of lack; it is a life of fulfilment and satisfaction. So, when we come to the altar of prayer and access our inheritance in God, we are positioned for fulfilment and satisfaction in life (Joel 2:26 -27). We shall eat in plenty and be satisfied.

ii. It is the life of focused spirituality.
When we access our inheritance at the place of prayer, the outcome is that our spirituality gets focused (Joel 2:26)

You see, nothing distracts spirituality like scarcity; nothing attacks spirituality like poverty. If you doubt this, try it. Poverty is a distraction of spirituality; scarcity is a distraction of intimacy with God. The mind you should be using to meditate on Scriptures, you use it to calculate challenges, house rent, where food would come from, children’s school fees, etc. There are people who sit in church and their mind is not on the message the pastor is preaching because they are wondering what to eat when they get home after the service. That devil is a bastard.

I decree that the days of scarcity and shortage are over in your life forever.

The outcome of accessing our inheritance at the place of prayer is that it gives us the opportunity to maintain focused spirituality.

Remember this: When we come to the altar of prayer and access our inheritance in God, we are positioned for fulfilment and satisfaction in life.

1. Make up your mind to access at the place of prayer, all that God has in store for you in His Word.
2. Believe God’s Promises for your life.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to access my inheritance in Your Word at the place of prayer, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
