Kingdomfavoured Prayers

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I begin this new day, I commit it into Your hands. I pray that You will guide me and direct me in all that I do.

I stand on Your promise in Isaiah 9:6, which says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

I also hold onto the promise in Matthew 1:21-23, which says, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

Lord, I pray that You will be with me today, guiding me and directing me in all that I do. Help me to fulfill Your purpose for my life and to bring glory to Your name.
