SCRIPTURE: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Praying in the Sprit takes the battle from the physical to the spiritual.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

Prayer is a vital tool or weapon in the hands of the child of God. The place of prayer in the life and growth of a Christian cannot be overemphasized.

Paul the apostle admonished us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, to pray without ceasing. And one thing we do without ceasing is breathing. This means, we are expected to pray as we breathe.

One dimension of prayer that yields great results is praying in the Spirit. The Spirit helps our infirmities and makes us to pray fervently without struggle (Romans 8:26).

Now, why is praying in the Spirit necessary?

1. To pray in tongues is to tame your world
   Just as a lion is tamed, you tame your world by speaking in tongues. The tongue is the most unruly part of the body. You might have said things that you have regretted saying in time past. When the Holy Ghost takes over your tongue, however, He tames your tongue and begins to use it in His own way. Now that the Holy Spirit has been able to tame your tongue, you can use the same tongue to tame your world.
2. Praying in the Sprit takes the battle from the physical to the spiritual
   When you pray and say, ‘Lord, do you see how they are gathering against me?”, you are speaking at the natural level. But when you pray in the Spirit or speak in tongue, you have shifted level from the physical to the spiritual realm.

Praying in the Spirit engages God and satan; supernatural versus supernatural. It takes the battle from the physical into the spiritual realm, and when you step into that spiritual dimension, victory is guaranteed.

Remember this: Praying in the Sprit takes the battle from the physical to the spiritual.
